And Baby Makes Three!!

About ten weeks ago, David and I found out that we are going to be parents! We are SO incredibly excited to start this part of our life together. I am currently about 14 weeks pregnant with our little one, and baby is due on August 19th.

We saw our little one for the first time when I was about 8 weeks along. It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. We both thought that it looked like a gummi bear, so that is what we are calling it now. When we first heard its little heartbeat, we were amazed at how fast it was! I started to cry, and then became so incredibly happy that I started laughing, and I couldn't stop for a while. The first time, Gummi bear's heartbeat was 162 BPM, and last time it was 150 BPM! It is a fast little heart beat, but such a beautiful sound.

Right now I am barely showing, but very excited to see the changes in my body. (I think most of the changes are due to bloating still, but soon I will have a little belly!)As soon as I look more preggo, I will post pictures for everyone to see!

For those of you that are wanting to know, we have decided that we are not going to find out the gender of the baby until it is born. We look forward to the surprise of a lifetime, and can't wait for August to get here.

We're MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am officially Mrs. Keller! On July 18th, I married my best friend. David and I had the most beautiful wedding, and are so happy to be married! It was so wonderful to share our day with everyone who came, and we missed all of you that could not be there. Our photographer was amazing and sent us a preview of our pictures on facebook, so I figured I would post a few of our pictures for all of you to see. I hope you enjoy them.

Almost Done!

Well, a lot has happened since the last time I posted, I don't even know where to begin! Well, I guess I will start with work. I just changed jobs, and went from working at a preschool to being a substitute teacher. The first few days of subbing were so hard, and emotionally draining. Ihad second graders both days. It was a crazy start to my new job, but I made it through. Today I went to a middle school, and had a WONDERFUL day! The kiddos even asked me when I could come back again! Such a change! (I go back to the same class on Wednesday!!) Anyway, that is enough about my job, on to more fun things.

This last weekend my mom came into town to help me out with some wedding details. First, we went to the bakery and picked a design and flavor for my cake! I LOVE IT!! Then, we went to the venue, and I showed her around. While we were there, we picked out flowers, centerpieces, my guest book, unity candle, and ring bearer pillows! Then we went and looked at dresses for my mom for the wedding. It was fun to help HER find a dress this time!

Later that night, David and I took her to the jeweler with us, and we picked out our wedding bands! I had to give up my engagement ring so they could make sure it all fit together right. I feel so empty without it on my finger!! The next day, we went to David's mom's house, and my mom got to meet his mom and step-dad for the first time! We then all went together to pick out our invitations, and favors, and finally to lunch. It was SO fun!

We got SO much done for the wedding, I am just AMAZED! I hardly have anything left to do! I was sad to see my mom go, but I will see her again in about 3 months for the bridal shower! :D

After a long day of work (first the pre-school, and then tutoring) I came home to a quiet house. I hate the quiet... I think that has something to do with being one of five kids. We always had something going on around the house, and I just got used to noise.

Anyway, David got called out to work 30 min before I got off of work, just my luck . :( He was so sweet, that he got me some yummy Mexican food before he left! Now I am just sitting in bed with my adorable puppy watching Love Comes Softly. ( I love this movie!!)

So, I was sitting here thinking and I realized that I never shared pictures of our puppy, Dakota. She is a Chiweenie (Chihuahua- Dachshund mix) and she is about 5 lbs.

We're Engaged!!

Ahhhhh... My first Saturday off in a LONG time! SO nice. David is off at the reserves right now, and I am at home with my puppy. I really should be cleaning the house right now, oh well. Anyway, since most of my cousins have a blog, and seem to keep in touch with the family that way, I thought I would try it out.

Anyway, David and I just got engaged on Christmas, and we will be getting married this July! For our first blog, I thought I would share a few pictures of the proposal!
